We sell a selection of respirator cartridge types from 3M and North. If you are not sure what product you need, this cartridge chart will help you determine what cartridge is best for your hazard. If you are working with organic vapors, consider the 3M 6001 or the North N75001 which were designed specifically to protect against those. Organic vapors typically refer to liquids that are petroleum based (from organic carbon) evaporate quickly (creating vapors.) Products like turpentine, gasoline, paint thinner, urethanes and solvent based epoxy all will give off organic vapors in varying amounts. Some respirator cartridges, like the North N75002, protect against acid gases such as chlorine, hydrogen chloride, etc. The North N75003 is a dual filter cartridge that protects against both organic vapors and acid gases.
